What’s the difference between a diet and a cleanse?
When you’re on a diet, you might try to count every calorie you eat. This amount of time consuming work and restriction can leave you hungry, overwhelmed, tired and frustrated. Feeling like this is no fun, so you likely give up. This introductory 7-day cleanse program isn’t about starving your body, fasting, juicing, eating strange food combinations, or taking lots of supplements. Instead, my approach is to take a short period of time to move away from processed, refined foods and some of the top food allergens to give your body a little break. Working so hard to metabolize all of these potentially damaging foods takes a toll. During the cleanse you’ll release toxins and nourish your body with seasonal nutrient-dense whole foods so it can heal, repair and rejuvenate.
